It's minus-8 degrees F (-22 C) out today, and I have chosen to enjoy another cup of coffee rather than suck in the cold air.
But it will warm up, and I'll keep chipping away. 413 miles down. 926 miles to go.
BTW, and speaking of cold ones, did you notice that Courtney made one of the classic energy geek mistakes in her cookies and beer post? She focused only on the energy (measured in caloric intake and pounds of fat), and completely ignored the benefits--and I'm talking sheer joy!--of cookies and beer. Madness. Although maybe that does help explain why she is more than 100 miles ahead of me.

ReplyDeleteI just took a look at the map. Mike's 413 miles logged means he just crossed the line from Indiana to Illinois. 4 states down! 3 more to go before Colorado.
